The Co-operative launched the competition to coincide with its announcement that it has banned the sale of eggs from caged hens. Steve Connolly, Category Trading Manager for Dairy at The Co-operative, said: “We had some fantastic entries for the competition, and we were really impressed with the amount of effort and imagination pupils put in to their designs.
